What we collect

Enquiries typically include name, email, chosen programme, optional issue or cover letter, optional viewing date, and your message. If a programme proceeds we may also hold token identifiers you supply, postal details for paper, and payment references. We do not ask for wallet seed phrases or marketplace passwords.

Why we hold it

We use this information to answer you, to book viewings, to write dossiers, and to meet UK legal duties such as accounting. The lawful bases are contract (or steps toward a contract) and legitimate interests in running a handling room. Where we rely on consent, for example optional analytics cookies, you may withdraw it.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are kept for twelve months. Accepted scopes, invoices, and dossiers are kept for six years after the programme ends. Cookie choices stored in your browser remain until you clear them or choose again.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We will not charge for a reasonable request.

International transfers

Email and hosting may involve processors outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens we use a transfer tool recognised under UK law, such as the UK Addendum to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, or we work with a processor covered by UK adequacy regulations.

Sharing

We share details with a holder or gallery only as needed to complete a search you asked for. We do not sell mailing lists. See also the cookie note.
